1. Ensuring the level of support provided is fully funded: David, an Operations Director for an MSP, is looking over the ticket statistics and one of his customers seems to have become very needy lately. Their ticket activity has been steadily growing over time. Clicking through to the profitability report on their customer page, David quickly selects the support contract to check whether he is making any money from that contract. In one graphical view, he can see 12 months of activity on that contract, combining the monthly revenue figures with his related purchases and the cost of the ticket time bookings. Horrified, he sees that this contract is actually losing him money now, even though at the start it made a decent margin. He reaches for the phone to talk to the customer about the level of support provided and what it might cost in future.

2.
