PROS: The software is very user friendly for all of my Maintenance Technicians from the trainee to my Senior Mechanic. The mobility of this product is just great, my technicians can input a demand service request via their iPads on the way to the manufacturing machine and close the request on the way back to the Maintenance Shop. My Plant Manager can log in at any point and get an overview how efficient my employees are at responding to machine breakdowns and Preventative Maintenance orders.

CONS: All of the issues I have had with the software or the website have been quickly resolved through their superb Customer Service Technicians who go above and way beyond to resolve the problem. I had a self-inflicted reports problem that they were able to fix for me, and I made a suggestion for a total records count in the Work Order Search results. (works great by the way...)

PROS: Very handy to have a computerized system in place. We have been using a paper system for years and many things were getting left off or falling through the cracks. This system is helping us better track the "unexpected" work orders that pop up daily.

CONS: The limited hours of tech support are very problematic. We were unable to use the system for for over 12 hrs once. We are a 24hr/day operation and need to get things back up and running as soon as possible. We talked about using this system to take the place of our current "On Demand" work order system, but the day that that happened has caused management to take a step back from that idea.

PROS: Very easy to use. End users find it easy to submit request and managers find it easy to create, submit and complete work orders. The tracking of completed work orders is very handy and nice to have access to.

CONS: It is probably a permissions setting but they way e have permissions set up, some users are not able to enter their time spent on a job. Also would be nice to have a name field in the request box so that the requesters can name their request.

PROS: The versatility of the program is very extensive. There are however a few areas that I would like to see implemented in the future. My biggest concern right now is the ability to create reports, I find this function to be quite limited.

CONS: I would like to see the reports made a little more user friendly

PROS: By far, the best aspect of this product is its simplicity for end users. The time required by staff to create, open, process, and close work orders very reasonable, and there isn't really anything in these steps that is troublesome or confusing.

CONS: adding a model and pic from a phone could work better as it takes to many step to do it now if you got new equipment coming in

PROS: Portability, You can access it anywhere with no need for an app all you need is internet access user friendly, one click two click you are already in a work order, super fast prioritize, select a level of urgency on your work orders, really urgent? have it send out email alerts, simple find equipment, too many work orders in your feed? look up work orders by equipment models bar codes, easily find equipment and work orders by scanning a bar code

CONS: reports can be a bit of a challenge to learn depending on how computer savvy you are but once you know how it works its easy.

PROS: By far, the best aspect of this product is its simplicity for end users. The interface is straight forward and rather intuitive. The time required by staff to create, open, process, and close work orders very reasonable, and there isn't really anything in these steps that is troublesome or confusing. This was a big factor in our decision to go with Hippo as our CMMS, and has really helped make its roll-out successful with our workforce.

CONS: As an administrator for this software within my corporation, I spend more of my time working in the administrative back end that the developer has provided for this purpose. I'm happy that the software is easy for staff to learn and use, however I wish the administrative aspect of the software was a little more robust to more easily service my needs for managing a very large number of facilities. Even with the ability to create templates, rolling out a similar work order to 100 different facilities still requires performing some steps 100 different times. As well, there are a number of easy-to-generate reports, but I find that what I want to see in reports is not always what is provided. The alternative is a data export process that is a little too confusing for me.
