What are the best aspects of this product?
Very handy to have a computerized system in place. We have been using a paper system for years and many things were getting left off or falling through the cracks. This system is helping us better track the "unexpected" work orders that pop up daily.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The limited hours of tech support are very problematic. We were unable to use the system for for over 12 hrs once. We are a 24hr/day operation and need to get things back up and running as soon as possible. We talked about using this system to take the place of our current "On Demand" work order system, but the day that that happened has caused management to take a step back from that idea.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
I would like to be able to add/delete columns from the Parts sheets. Our clerk would like to have somewhere to notate when a part is on order and when it was ordered so that when someone on an off shift looks up a part, sees it's not here, they can at least know if it is on its way.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We have certain little "projects" or "wish list" items that pop up throughout the day that supervisors or managers want done. Many times they get mentioned to a maintenance person or leader and get forgotten (just because of the bulk of other activities they are already doing). This has helped by making that supervisor/manager go through the proper channels and it gets written down so that there is a reminder to complete the task.
