What is Navvia?

Navvia is an advanced BPM and ITSM system that helps companies tailor industry-specific and personalized processes, and cut implementation costs. This cloud-hosted system helps design, audit, and research any type of business process, but also offers ITIL V2, V3, and CobiT-friendly templates for users to create their process from scratch. You can also use Navvia to automate the creation of your documents, and export them in the desired format.

The large number of unique features makes Navvia one of the most popular service management and consultation portals, so that businesses can improve the services they provide to their customers. At the same time, Navvia will analyze the quality of your existing processes and depict opportunities for development, and verify their structures comparing them to standard control protocols such as ISO2000, Sarbanes Oxley, CobiT®, or your personal ones. Navvia’s tech support team will be on your disposal at any moment, and help you implement the system easily regardless of your technical knowledge. You can also use their free implementation training, and participate in on site workshops.

Overview of Navvia Benefits

How exactly will Navvia help you to revolutionize your processes? In short, this system offers the functionality needed to make process design more effective, and to streamline the service provided to end customers. The friendly and familiar drag-and-drop interface and premade templates help you design beautiful processes, while the advanced Data Model captures all elements that are involved in those processes. To make matters even better, Navvia allows you to adjust capture requirements so that processes will be automatically edited, and all future changes will be reflected in them.

Once created, all processes are divided and organized in categories and work spaces, and the admin assigns user access permissions to control who can see and edit them. For loyal clients, the company can design private work spaces and adjust permissions separately.

Navvia also makes it easy to produce and share process artifacts, including automated process guides, RACI charts, flow diagrams, and mind maps. Depending on your industry, you can also generate complex technical documents, and report on you activity at any point of time. It is exactly the analytical capacity of this system that helps customers evaluate the health of their processes, implement process governance controls, and educate and train their users.

What is even better is that Navvia is hosted in cloud, and supported on a variety of browsers and operating systems. All Navvia documents are exportable as Microsoft Office and Adobe files, with a disaster recovery plan and a dedicated data backup center. Support is available at any point of time, via email, phone, or on site tickets.

Navvia Position In Our Categories

Knowing that businesses have their own business demands, it is practical that they avoid getting a one-size-fits-all, ”best” system. Regardless, it is futile to try to chance on such a software solution even among popular software systems.
The logical thing to undertake would be to list the various main functions which merit consideration such as major features, budget, technical skill levels of the employees, company size, etc. The second step is, you must double down on your research fully. Read these Navvia evaluations and look into each of the software options in your list more closely. Such comprehensive product research guarantees you steer clear of ill-fitting software products and subscribe to the system that delivers all the function you require company requires.

Position of Navvia in our main categories:

TOP 100

Navvia is one of the top 100 Business Process Management Software products

TOP 200

Navvia is one of the 200 IT Management Software products

Navvia is also listed in the following subcategories:

It is essential to keep in mind that hardly any software in the Business Process Management Software category is a perfect solution able to meet all the goals of different company types, sizes and industries. It may be a good idea to read a few Navvia Business Process Management Software reviews first as specific services may excel exclusively in a really small group of applications or be prepared with a very specific type of industry in mind. Others might operate with an intention of being simple and intuitive and as a result lack complex features desired by more experienced users. You can also come across services that cater to a wide group of users and offer a powerful feature set, but that frequently comes at a more significant cost of such a software. Make sure you're aware of your requirements so that you pick a software that provides all the functionalities you search for.

PROS: It's very flexible and self-contained. It fosters a controlled environment that allows for extensive process management. It develops, modifies, and publishes processes according to customized or recommended practice templates. Carrying out maturity assessments via pre-installed or a custom assessment module. It also carries out audits of processes through its auditing tool in determining changes made to the process diagram/s documentation.

CONS: There's nothing much to hate. Its roadmap is on its way in the integration of processes. It also makes room for references for processes along with their components. These include procedures, roles, and others. Having the ability to produce documentation, which purposely serves training materials.

PROS: It's essentially a one-stop shop for processes. That also includes procedures and policy aspects. It keeps them all organized for you. So you won't need to. What's not to like about that?

CONS: The tool isn't as inuitive as initially expected. But once you have an idea on what should be done next, it's a good thing. Expect a learning curve. If you're the kind who doesn't use it all the time, then you're back to learning things all over again.

PROS: Navvia does its best to make sure documentation in processes/requirements/specs remain comprehensive. It also tries to keep them together logically while remaining effective. The tool doesn't entail us to be full-time experts in process documentation. At the same time, it ensures we're able to get things right. It has plenty of examples through templates and organized in such a manner to prevent missing out on essential elements.

CONS: Very little to hate. It'd be nice if their interface functioned a bit a bit quicker.

PROS: Having process components readily available when you need it most. You're able to get plenty of details in terms of process attributes. These include procedures, outputs, metrics, RACI, policy, goals, and so on. It contains core software aspects in capturing when documenting the process. So when everything is done, the info is all there.

CONS: To be honest, there's nothing much to hate with the tool. Each application has plenty of chances to improve. There are some aspects that I'm hoping Navvia will add in the future. One, being able to import directly from Visio if a process is mapped via BPM Standards. And secondly, an "undo" functionality.

PROS: We love the comprehensive approach and structure involved in the software process design. Its ITL templates have been really useful. Training as well as customer support has been one of our best experiences. Their response time was quick. Support was excellent. They're expert using the tool and won't slow down to a stop until your problems are solved or you've successfully accomplished training.

CONS: We dislike creating separate profiles for every process. That way, we can build on things such as version control. But then again, this hasn't hindered us from using it.

PROS: Navvia contains a pre-made ITIL-compliant process templates. It can be tweaked to suit your the needs of your business rather than starting out from the very beginning. Its subscription comes with training courses that my team found very useful. What's more, the training is free of charge. Since the subscription contains limitless read-only licenses, everyone in our organization ca look into process documentation and make use of training without added cost.

CONS: There's a bit of a learning curve with the design tool. It takes some time to completely understand how it works. Fortunately, its ease of use has dramatically improved since starting the subscription.

PROS: The Navvia team has great knowledge when it comes to IT Service Management. Thanks to them, our processes are now mature. We look forward to teaming with them as we carry out newer processes. Since making a move to ServiceNow several years ago, we've been engaged with Navvia consultatnts in helping us with a CMDB solution. This proved to be a useful tool in understanding our inventory (both software and hardware). We're able to include CI costing tO CMDB, which proved to really helpful for insurance reasons.

CONS: Nothing bad at all. Our experiences with Navvia have all been positive.

PROS: Navvia offers great support. The tool's functionality is unlimited. I make use of this tool for creating Process Maturity Assessment as well as processing documents. There's no other tool like it in the market that does what I want in my job daily. Its ServiceNow-related process Documents are a huge win as we're heavily dependent on it. Having the ability to make custom-processed documents for our processes is a huge plus.

CONS: The one thing I hated with the tool is how users will have to go through a learning curve. Once you get a grip on the tool and you learn your way around it, it's a great thing. The tool's intuitiveness is great, but users may have a hard time keeping up with it. I'm happy with how we no longer need to have a long list of "hate" with the tool. The tool is constantly evolving to assist in the functions and aims of every organization.

PROS: Everything required for process documentation is made available in Navvia. There aren't any purchase levels consisting or excluding specific functionality. Even with the components there, you have the option to go big or small with data. It's a plus having ServiceNow accelerators since we're currently a ServiceNow shop. Onboarding training appears to be thorough.

CONS: I was hoping they'd have some kind of an Undo button! Even with its thorough onboarding training, there's still plenty to learn. It may appear intimidating at first, but once you get around it, it's like having other tools that you'd frequently use.

PROS: Its online portal offers my team everything they need for creating physical and logical ITIL business processes. And that's a really great thing! Logical process models are being utilized in managing and organzing business processes. Meanwhile, physical models are used in configuring the ITSM tools as well as business process workspace templates. All positives for my team.

CONS: Its busines process modelling tool is missing functionality in linking business processes automatically. The dev team is in the middle of doing or including such feature to the BPM toolset.
