What are the best aspects of this product?
For me, the positive features are the search and customization capabilities. It is easy to customize the app for our business requirements and to create searches for our reports. Another big benefit is the great flexibility offered to design and modify forms.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The customer support is ok. The agents sometimes indulge in guesswork but are otherwise good at understanding the root issues and resolving them quickly. However, I am not able to add a few basic features to NetSuite's development list. I would rate scalability and performance as poor. The searches time out as we have millions of transactions per month. Because of the customization we have done, the UI response time has become poor for many transactions. We use complex customizations and because of this transactions are not processed properly due to performance and timing issues.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We use NetSuite for all our purchasing and sales. I have used only NetSuite in this company so I cannot provide you a comparison of this app with the previous one used by the company.
