What is Wrike?

Wrike Church Management Software is a cloud-based solution you can use to streamline and automate tasks and processes for your church organization. It streamlines admin tasks such as work management, reporting and analytics, dissemination of information and communication across the members of your church. It is an all-in-one collaboration software that church leaders, church communicators, and pastors can use to collect, manage, and organize church member data.

Since Wrike is highly flexible and customizable to any use case, any church or ministry can adapt the software to their needs. These include setting up events, customizing reports, and determining which staff can access which part of the system. Resource management is available for balancing resources which is crucial if you want to keep track of your organization’s donations and contributions.

Wrike enables you to foster the growth of your church by efficiently managing contacts and utilizing various channels such as email and social media. Some of the top features you can use for church management are email and calendar synchronization, calendars, event management, and user groups, among others. It is available on iOS and Android mobile devices for an on-the-go solution.

Overview of Wrike Benefits

Wrike Church Management Software offers a reliable solution for churches to manage, automate, and organize their daily operations. With that, here are the platform’s benefits:

Gain insights

When it comes to managing church operations, Wrike gives you insightful reports to eliminate guesswork. Wrike’s report wizard is an easy-to-use tool that you can edit and create from scratch to match your reporting needs. Notifications can be scheduled for updates and reviews on a regular basis to keep everyone in-the-know.

Centralize information

Wrike unifies all your church information in a single location. This eliminates having to go through and look at different storage, apps, and systems for the data and record you need. Instead, a centralized database is easily accessible in the cloud. Always kept up-to-date, the dashboard is shareable to relevant people. They are also customizable to only show your most important tasks or events.

Manage events

Since events, big or small, are challenging to plan, Wrike streamlines how you schedule and put together an event such as an outreach program. If there are any changes, communication tools are available to update members of any changes in the schedule, program or activity. Calendars, which can be color-coded and layered, show you a bird’s eye view of your events and simplify planning, viewing, and sharing scheduled tasks.

Improve communication

Wrike supports the needs of administrators, ministry leaders, staffs, members and visitors to have an optimized communication. It informs every one of church news, developments, and updates for a more efficient and effective method of spreading the Gospel. You can also easily mention a member through tagging them for in-context updates.

Handle member contacts

Keep a database of your every member’s contact details and information to manage and monitor the growth of your congregation. This is also crucial in quickly retrieving their information when you need to reach out through any channel—email, social media, or SMS. Admins have the authority over access control and centralized user management.

Pros: There are lot of helpful features within Wrike starting from Gantt chart- that helps you with complex projects that require different tasks or phases in order to be completed, to Folders & Projects- Organization that helps you to manage projects from different angles like: customer-driven, sales-driven, marketing-driven and it allows you to manipulate and move projects into various folders. The Tasks feature allows you to assign the tasks to different people within the team. There is even an option for duplicating folders with their tasks

Cons: I’d like to create dependencies between projects. In addition, when I want to change a tasks’ deadline it automatically changes the subtasks’ deadline and whenever I want to push some things forward/backward with Gantt chart I need to go into each subtask to adjust them as well. Also, the duration can be complicated especially when we have several tasks and we are not sure about the actual time on a given day whether it is enough or not.

Pros: A very powerful project management tool with some good features

Cons: Be careful with Wrike - after being a customer for 2 years they massively increased our renewal price. It's now totally unaffordable and we're having to move to an alternative, which is especially annoying after the amount of time it took to train our staff in Wrike.

I really appreciate that it is not too complex as other collaboration tools get too carried away with all the details.
