PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

We're still a fairly new 2Checkout user, but we're quite impressed with its features so far. My team and I haven't had any issues in learning and applying this to our workflow. Whenever we do run into walls, the 2Checkout team has always been quick to respond--they've been very helpful, especially during the setup stages. When we wanted to customize our template and the content of our email and checkout pages, we were able to do so easily with their help. As for the platform itself, I like how it allows us to widen our online store's reach and cater to a global audience now. Another great thing about this platform is that it allows us to process subscription products without the need for manual monthly updates. We've been able to venture into selling other services such as consulting and training because of 2Checkout. Not only that, but we've managed to launch several marketing campaigns through this platform, too. It's more than just an e-commerce platform, it also provides support on email marketing and even affiliate marketing. I say all this as a user of just a few months, and I can't wait to discover other ways to fully maximize all of 2Checkout's capabilities. Lastly, the most important consideration of all is the price and 2Checkout easily trumps all the other platforms with its affordability alone.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The reporting templates are quite limited, but I can easily pull out the raw data anyway so this isn't too much of a big deal. Another issue is that the response time of customer reps isn't standardized--sometimes they respond in just a matter of hours, other times they take days to reply. And if I were to make a suggestion: 2Checkout's developers should create varying report templates and tool terminology that are particular to a particular type of entrepreneur. Most of the terminologies right now are focused on SaaS products sellers.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We've been able to launch our e-commerce site in just a week or two, complete with the promise to process payments in other currencies. Not only that, but we've been able to save much more with 2Checkout too. Our previous payment gateway had set us back quite a lot. Despite still needing to pay a percentage for transaction fees, 2Checkout is still by far the most economical choice for us.
