What are the best aspects of this product?
One of the things that I like about 2Checkout is that it can be integrated into some of the most popular e-commerce platforms today. It's easy to use and it has the capacity to accept and process installments as well. I've been able to offer subscriptions and apply recurring charges to customers as well. When it comes to usage, I find 2Checkout to be user-friendly. Most of its design is intuitive and it shows the developers great foresight and understanding of their customer base. And finally, I also like how it provides reports that I actually find useful. When combined with Google Analytics, I can make use of the information they provide so that I can apply the necessary steps to help me improve my page's discoverability.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
To be honest, I think that the dashboard layout can still be improved. It's quite overwhelming to have all of the tools dumped in one section. My customers also find it difficult to update their shopping baskets. Not to mention, their CS support sometimes takes too long to respond to communication as well. And lastly, I think that 2Checkout should think about adding more languages to its program.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Aside from the obvious benefit of being able to receive and process payments from various sources, I think that 2Checkout has also helped me expand my business without requiring an inordinately long list of requirements and paperwork. It has also helped me accept installment payments from my customers. True enough, there's still room for improvement but it gets the job done and, at the end of a business day, that is all that matters.
