What are the best aspects of this product?

Here are some of my observations right off the bat: it's an intuitive program that is very easy to personalize. The layout is very simple too. Now to delve deeper into its system, I just want to say that I'm relieved that we no longer have to maintain pages after pages of excel files just to track the attendance of our employees.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I know that this is now in the works, but the only feature that absence.io is missing is the ability to allow management of employee data. But as I said, this feature will be rolled out soon, so there's no issue, really.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Absence.io has been such a lifesaver. Our operations span across different countries (translation: different timezones) so you can only imagine how difficult employee management can get. Ever since we started using this program, we no longer have to scramble to do our research just to determine the particulars whenever an employee calls in sick. Our processes run much more smoothly now, and our sanities are very much intact.
