What are the best aspects of this product?

It's been a decade since I started using ACDSee and I've kept using it because it works so much faster especially when you compare it with other products like Adobe Lightroom. You don't need to work with a special database where you have to import images, because that whole process takes a lot of time even when the computer you're working with is fast. This is really important especially when you work with a lot of RAW images that are uncompressed and have a high resolution. I also like that you can use ordinary folders to store images alongside the exceptional database tool that ACDSee already has.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Windows can produce a thumbnail preview image of a PSD or TIF file, so I really do not understand how ACDsee can't do the same. It's really annoying and I think they should resolve this in future versions.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

When you need to quickly do some editing, this is a good alternative to Photoshop. It is really good to use when you have to work with a huge number of additional images.
