Acronis is great product when it comes to data backup

What are the best aspects of this product?

I’ve been using Acronis for years, and what I like most is the imaging products. The UI is intuitive and easy to set up, you won’t have any kind of problems if you are familiar with their product line already. When I capture an image I go back to read it by trying to restore few files. Every time I try to do this it works perfectly. To be honest, I don’t use this program on a daily basis, I’m using it as recovery routine. I believe that if I implement Acronis and back up workstations in some environment it will work.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I don’t like that I cannot create bootable recovery media. I really need this option because this one creates great when you follow the instructions on how to do it. I have spent lot of time with its support team for couple of procedures to get some bootable image working within 2014 version, but in the latest one 2016 version I cannot boot images. And that’s why I don’t give high points for this product.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

My job is to focus on network management and disaster recovery is most important plan. It ensures me that important data is backed up for my clients. I like that the data can be restore and secured even when my clients don’t have server or pc for some period of time. I know they are satisfied with this product.
