My favorite features are the integrated Adobe Scout Support which aids me in developing applications like games. Also, the newer version's support for Flex and ActionScript made the development of web apps and games easier and successful.

For those who are just starting, they might get confused and intimidated at first. So while Flash Builder is fairly easy to learn, it takes some time to get used to it. But it's worth the investment.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I've been using this program to develop mobile games for android and iOS. The support for Adobe Scout and ActionScript, as well as the assistive tools for game development, has made this my IDE of choice. I don't have to test my apps using external tools because Flash Builder offers local connections for that task.
