What are the best aspects of this product?

It has everything I need for my design work. I use InDesign to design templates and websites and I have been doing this for the past 6 years. All that time, I have been using this product to make my work easy. It is a reliable tool and I have not experienced any major glitches with it. As such, I consider it the best in the market so far. When it comes to how to use it, it is easy. If you have ever used any other adobe product, then this product will seem familiar as the interfaces of adobe products are similar. It is easy to design using this tool. If you want to design brochures, you can create templates and have our way in the end. It also has a way through which you can adjust pictures and see how they can be viewed from a mobile device or laptop.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It can prove to be difficult to use at first. For a new user, it has a learning curve which means you have to take time and learn how to utilize the features and tool this product has. The learning curve is due to the many features and tools InDesign has. Apart from that, it is not good at photo editing. If you want the best of the two worlds, then you have to buy Adobe Photoshop and InDesign where the latter will be for editing text. This is because InDesign does not have photo editing features to help you edit the best images for your projects.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has solved a couple of issues for my design work. Previously, I had to hire a professional designer to handle the brochures, templates and fliers for my website. This proved to be costly as I could not do it myself. However, with this product, I am able to complete all those roles without the need for help from outside. It has allowed me to be more effective where I can complete all the design work in-house. This means that I can save on the cost of hiring a designer from outside and also improve quality for my designs. Everything is seamless which adds to the efficiency with which I deliver my projects.
