Setting the benchmark for collaborative planning solutions

What are the best aspects of this product?

There may be a myriad of software much better than Anaplan in terms of design and feature offerings but what makes me stick with Anaplan is beyond the software itself. I love how its management regularly asks for our feedback and incorporate them in their next upgrades. Its system upgrades are also fast increasing, relatively more than its competitors. I won't be surprised if very soon it matches others in the market. In addition to their dedication to improving their product, Anaplan is also made up of very helpful technical and customer care support teams.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

As mentioned, Anaplan has yet to achieve the level of user-friendliness accepted by its audience, and we appreciate that Anaplan is aggressive in this pursuit. However, this faulty interface issue stems from other problems such as complexities in the modeling and integration processes. They are very difficult that they challenge even expert users.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Anaplan was an effective tool that assisted my clients in getting rid of Excel spreadsheets which do little to support their planning, reporting, revenue targeting, and forecasting endeavors. Many are now enjoying the benefits of having a more structured workflow within their organizations, whether big or small. Many attested that Anaplan has helped them save more time and turn their focus on more productive activities.
