PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Rooted from the Eclipse platform, it features a simple UI for a majority of today's Java developers. Its coding component with visual coupling lets you make tweaks. There's no need to make changes on the visual side. Although the visual side lets you include newer components without forcing to go on a code-dump.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are a plethora of bugs in the latest build. For instance, one of them hinders Dataweave objects from showing within the visual aspect of IDE. This can be annoying. Other bugs are also noticeable with Dataweave.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We wanted to replace our smaller .NET integrations with the Mule platform. That also includes a .NET web service one a single side for the BL. But we want to retain Mule as an ETL tool. The advantage here is how swift you are in getting an integration live.
