What are the best aspects of this product?

There are some vendors claiming to possess more than 800 connectors. Thing is, it could take a number of connectors to accomplish the same task that Mule can get done with one connector. Mule is very intuitive and simple to use.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

To be honest. There's very little to dislike with MuleSoft. Since I had to make something out of this survey, I feel the product's MEL has a bit of a learning curve. But nevertheless, it offers documentation and training to help you be more productive.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Our company kicked off with MuleSoft and we couldn't wait to get things started. We've done plenty of point-to-point connections as a result of years of development without acknowledging the architecture for the long term. To keep our business growing we need to fix the mess we made.
