Great solution for app testing

What are the best aspects of this product?

Launching app can be really stressful process. In the market there are lot of devices, software, platforms, OS permutations that run the testing in-house and they can be really expensive though. We use Applause for testing problems and we adore the ‘In-The-Wild’ service. We are provided with huge managing resources by global testers that stimulates the real-world testing.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Even though the Applause manages the testers, there is a gap between lining up them and receiving the results you want/need. There is a balance between new and glossed over bugs, and runs the risk of being ignorant product vs. providing testers with more in-depth details of the issues, risking test exhaustion and some perspectives. In order to generate the results you need your testers need direction and to maintain close relationship with its project manager so you can be sure that the test-team works perfectly.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Each app in the market today needs quick and frequent updates. Applause with its ‘in-the-wild’ service avoids the risk of the product failing after launch. We don’t have to run some exhaustive test suites anymore which are time-consuming and limited.
