Appsheet is a very intuitive and versatile tool that can help you create an app using your Google Sheets data.

What are the best aspects of this product?

It took me a little over two weeks to get to know how Appsheet works because it has too many features that I need to learn. The good thing is that they have a robust and pretty established support group that was able to help me uncover my needs. I am thankful that Appsheet is 100% compatible with Google docs because it allows me to create several business applications by using my format and raw data.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It only offers a few options on how to design my app. Wishing that there would be more templates, fonts, and layouts that would be available soon so I can add some creative inputs into my app.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I consider Appsheet as one of the smartest platforms ever created because of its capability to cater to its clients' different needs. I am involved in the tourism and hospitality industry, and Appsheet has helped me develop a tool that I can utilize to monitor the business's logistics. The app that I created takes charge of handling reservations, accepting payments, and booking tour schedules in our local area. We also use it to track employee hours and convert it into payroll. The system that we are using right now is far more effective and convenient than the traditional excel sheet wherein we encounter many issues, including accidental loss of data, which can cause more significant problems. During this pandemic, I would say that our business has taken a setback because of the current circumstances wherein traveling is being discouraged. But it is okay because we have found another purpose for Appsheets. I am currently working with start-up business owners by conceptualizing and developing code-free applications that they can access tablets and mobile phones. I've created apps meant for restaurant food delivery, inventory tracking for a small retail clothing store, and a local electrician booking app. Being able to help a lot of people using Appsheets is one of my main priorities nowadays.
