What are the best aspects of this product?
Asigra is wonderful backup software. It is easy to setup and it is intuitive software. I used other backup solutions but this one is one of the best when it comes to managing service provider. I like that there is no need of agent on every server. The tech support is extremely helpful and responsive.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
In my opinion, the event log needs some improvements. I think that the error that shows up in the log doesn’t make any sense. When it comes to small network pipes then the backup doesn’t work great. Some of our customers don’t have high bandwidth so their backups may run for days when there is huge amount of data and in the end the backup process fails.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We upgraded our system few times and we need to keep our customers data when moving into new hardware. We are looking for a major version so we can make the transition smoothly.
