As it is an open-source, you get everything you need from the community of developers. If it is a plugin you need, high possibility is that it has already being developed and updated in the system. You can customize it to your preference and thus an attractive tool for your everyday work.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It is slow in nature which makes it frustrating. For example, when you want to open a large file, the system will either crash or take a long time before it opens the file. They may be working to correct this glitch but other than that, it is a complete great text editor.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I am able to format my code, check for errors and include plugins where I want them to be. Since it depends on the community to be efficient, it allows you to expand your environment with ease. It is also free and offers the best coding experience as compared to paid text editors such as Sublime Text.
