What are the best aspects of this product?

I like Atom code editor because it is open source based. Its extensions are usefuk and it supports almost all programming languages such as Java, C++, JavaScript and others. I can search for keywords across the directory that is loaded into the editor.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Even though it has Vim extension is not intuitive when emulating commands. If you take advantage of the built-in keyboard commands instead of trying to override them then this product is great for you.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

This editor is open sourced and free to use and it allows us to track our code structure and to keep files in one place for editing.
