I enjoy integrating and customizing with PLM 360

What are the best aspects of this product?

Frankly, I've never experienced working with a better workflow engine. It allows me to model the entire work process, and to add capability tones with javascripts (both in and out of the system). I find it to be easy, intuitive, and best of all…fast!

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is room for the dev team to improve some features. For instance, I'd work on user metadata and administrative data, and I'd enrich the dashboard with tools that follow and compare the development flow between different PLM tenants. These things, however, will not throw any shadow on the product-I still believe it is flexible enough to serve the needs of every company.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

PLM 360 gave us access to contemporate control processes, and improved the speed and accountability of our work. Frankly, we didn’t even expect that much insight in the health of our programs, or our current ability to analyze the roots of any problem. It is the only tool we're using for engineering activities, from the first 'til the last phase. The software is well integrated with our scheduling systems (Autodesk Vault, for instance), and it works amazingly well with CAD imported data. Our tenants benefit from new workspaces and improved features, and they've been extremelly generous with there feedback in only two years of using PLM 360.
