PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Autotask PSA integrates well into our RMM tool and QuickBooks. It allows our techs to easily put in their time entries for accurate billing. Also, the contract creation is pretty powerful, in that you can exclude and include certain work types, and even set rates on an individual or global basis. Reports are very powerful as well.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The report export doesn't look nice, and you always have to tinker with Excel to get it to look decent. Also, it's difficult to know when contracts are expiring. There used to be a notification that would come up, but it no longer does, so you have to check the central dashboard for expirations which isn't a big deal as long as you remember to do it every month.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

I better report interface would be helpful. It integrates well into Autotask Endpoint Management/Centrastage RMM, but it could do a little bit better with a single login.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We were able to track our employees' productivity. We can also look up accounts by activity, and reach out to clients who have not called us for a while. It keeps us in touch with everyone in that way. We really like Autotask and have no intention to switch.
