What are the best aspects of this product?

There is no need to worry about losing or accidentally deleting a file. Backblaze automatically backs up the files I have on my computer (and even the files on the external hard drive that I often attach to the computer) and store it in the cloud. And because the files are in the cloud, they can be accessed and retrieved with ease. On top of that, Backblaze sends me an email whenever I forgot to attach the drive or turn the computer on.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There’s only a per computer plan available. I had many computers so it would be great if there is a multi-computer plan or even a discount for having several computers connected. Apart from that, Backblaze does not automatically back up the files on my external hard drive until I manually tell it to scan and then back up the hard drive. Hopefully, this too will become automated.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

No need to manually back up files. Backblaze does it automatically. It gives us peace of mind knowing there are backups stored in the cloud. The email sent reminding me about attaching the hard drive to the computer is also awesome and helpful.
