PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Core is a fresh 21st century design created from scratch several years ago that stands on the shoulders of their decades of experience with their other similar products which have been stretched and pulled in wild directions by their customers. We've always been able to do what we wanted and handle the great diversity of our own projects and clients. We do hundreds of commercial projects per year and we confidently feel like we've got it all under control and can handle anything.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

They're also big on 24/7/365 customer support and responding to user feature requests. They release big updates every month. So "what could work better" one month will work really well the next. So it's hard to pin something down because it gets improved so often.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

It's currently very easy to use, and by everyone in the company, so it would be cool if they went even further still and provided a graphical way to draw our time (both billable and non-billable overlapped) on a timeline like we do in a calendar app on our phone.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Excellent visibility of project performance, and in real-time! We're able to continuously update our estimates and tweak employee performance and output as we go along. That insight has a significant impact on our profitability that we can now directly see and then quickly adapt.
