What are the best aspects of this product?

Things seem easy to begin with. A basic database can be done through the use of simplified search functions. It's also providing a lot more custom options. That is, if you're brave enough to get into the deep end.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Once you're capable of going past the basic setup process, the learning curve became a lot simpler to deal with. If I ended up not working on another person's template, I'd struggle deploying advanced functionality. The process involved lots of trial-and-error.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It's great how we can embed accessibility to working database on our site. We get to do that without hiring a database admin or another programmer. All it takes is to have an Excel spreadsheet in Caspio. Within minutes, I'm able to have something that we're sure can work.
