Great for designing detailed building plans and previs pieces

What are the best aspects of this product?

Great for creating building plans or creating designs of new spaces. Whether it’s a basic design or complex one, this platform provides all the tools needed to finish the masterpieces. I like the ability to include as much detail as possible in the design and plans. I can go to nitty-gritty of things like wall thickness, insulation types, etc. which is imperative in mapping out resources for the building project.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The number of buttons and tools displayed in the interface is quite overwhelming and confusing for new users. The textures or materials menu is a bit clunkier than it should be which is not appealing for me. Aside from that, I think the price tag is quite costly and it would be great if they’d make it more reasonable.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Chief Architect is actually more than just a tool for creating detailed building plans or design of spaces. It is very dynamic and you can use it for a variety of purposes. Initially, I used this software to build a house model. But now, I’m using it to create models of our video game interiors. You just have to figure out how to maximize the value of the product.
