What are the best aspects of this product?

The great thing with CrashPlan is how easy it can be to deploy. It's a very dependable and secure product. When it boils down ot missions critical backup, full compliance must be met. Deploying CrashPlan gives users confidence of not having to do anything else. It gives them flexibility for recovering files --- as long as IT policies are adhered.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Nothing to comment in this area. In my humble opinion, this is the best backup alternative in the market. If there's something that I'd recommend, it would be including console/internet-based client upgrades.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Before we discovered CrashPaln, our users were largely accountale for data security and data management on their PCs. This was never dependable nor something that could be carried out. This time around, our mission critical users are fully compliant with our company backup policies. Even if we haen't had a chance to try it, we know we're capable of tracing data on the computers of users.
