What are the best aspects of this product?

The great thing with CrashPlan is that it can easily be deployed. It's a backup that's both dependable and secure. When it boils down to missions critical backup, 100% compliance needs to be adhered. Desploying CrashPlan ensures our users are confident not to do anything tedious just to have the right backup. They're given the flexiblity in recovering files within our IT policies.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Nothing much to comment in this section. But in my personal opinion, no alternatives is as good as this. I guess upgrades on web/console would be a great functionality to add.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Before discovering CrashPlan ProE, our users were accountable in data security and management on their PCs. This wasn't something that could be seen as sonething that can be deployed, let alone be something they can depend on. This time though, our mission critical users are 100% compliant with our current backup policies. While we haven't had the chance to give this a go, we know it's capable of tracking sensitive data found the PCs of users.
