My review of CrashPlan.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like its LDAP integration. Its ease of use for deployment of the app to a deskop PC or laptop is a breeze. The dashboard is user-friendly. It comes with a useful info situated on the main page. The desktop application has a low overhead.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Currently, it's not made available for iPads. We have a number of iPad users who can't back up data. We had to resort by saving everything through the iCloud.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I like how its Unlimited Retention works. I love being able to throttle backups. That means, if you're running on a bandwidth with a limited speed or on a meter, it's hardly a problem. Great LDAP integration! Seamless use for any desktop PC or laptop.
