What are the best aspects of this product?

CrashPlan Pro is an awesome product. Setup and maintenance has never been this easy. It gives me numerous option in creating efficient corporate data backups. What's more, it's able to do that with reduced interruption and user overhead. The runs quietly in the background to allow point-to-point encryption for backup transfers.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Its reporting and options in data extract for management could use some improvement. Other than that, there's really much to complain about. What's important is that the process is simple enough to do what it's meant to do.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

If a user installs CrashPlan, I'm very confident theri time and work is constantly being protected. Hardware can easily be replaced. But suffering a loss on time or data is something that's impossible to retract. It saved our clients who were badly hit with ransom/Crypto. It assisted us in restoring their intellectual capital. We move that to a newer system that has less interruption.
