PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

This product makes Salesforce a much more powerful tool. Real-time data is so important. Once you have real-time data you wonder how you ever managed without it.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We're a small company without a dedicated developer or IT person. Sometimes the technical talk went way over my head. The staff was very patient with me.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

We really struggled with quote-to-order features with Salesforce Professional level. For small and medium companies the enterprise level of Salesforce is too big of an investment. I would like to see more attention paid to finding ways to make it easier to offer quote-to-order features at the Salesforce Professional level.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I had to rely on a different department to get reports. It typically would take at least a week, which was tricky when you are trying to prep for a customer visit. Quarterly reports would come 2-4 weeks into the quarter. After the sync and with so valuable help and training from Commercient, I was able to have everything I needed almost instantly. The boss wants to know how many units of a certain product we sold and to whom. I could report back to him in 15 minutes with an accurate assessment and analysis.
