What are the best aspects of this product?
Here come the positive details of my experience using Cornerstone OnDemand: I honestly believe it is robust like no other LMS out there. I'm standing behind these words because I've personally configured it for many clients, and rested on its back ever since I introduced the Learning and Performance Program. Observed from an end user's point of view, this is probably the best system to provide versatile learning modules and to introduce changes and improvements.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
As to the negative details, I have to call for attention towards the bad sides of such extensive configurability. What I have in mind is that you're spending too much time on their Pilot site, trying to understand how it works and to deal with the ups and downs, but once you actually have to built this to production, things start getting messy. I think there should be an upload feature, or something like that.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We've shifted completely to an automated workflow, making use of 30/90 days retention meetings, competency checklists, performance reviews, etc. We are very satisfied with Cornerstone.
