What are the best aspects of this product?
As a high-level sales manager, I must have full control over our processes all the time
and ensure continuous company growth. Issues have arisen when our team expanded
to over 15, and I simply didn’t have proper tools to analyze all the data, report, not to
mention lead a team with 100% efficiency. Preparation for our weekly, monthly and
quarterly meetings turned into days, my folder was filled with Excel files, and my team
suffered from investing so much time into the analysis, rather than selling. I started to
search for a software that will give everyone access at any given point in time, without
the need for lengthy Excel analysis or PowerPoint presentations. In sales, you need to
act quickly, and swiftly, so I searched for a solution that will enable us to incorporate all
of our KPIs into a single place, manage our data in real-time, and eliminate the burden
of tiresome reporting processes. We needed to drastically cut the time of our
administration.
I had the pleasure to test more than 5 different vendors, and, believe me, the decision to
sign up with datapine was carefully considered and approved by the whole team. Their
onboarding process is quite straightforward and customer service extremely responsive
to our requests, but the main thing that made us their loyal clients for the past 2 years is
their product. I cannot find any solution on the market that has such intuitive and easy-
to-use features such well developed for managing data, analyzing, reporting, and
helping me to develop my team and the sales efficiency by 100%. We completely cut
down the reporting process and automated all the reports each member of the team
needs to compile or receive. Our analysis is done in real-time and if I’m not certain about
certain value, progress, KPI or timeframe, I simply conduct an ad-hoc analysis within
minutes. Our preparations for the meetings have also cut down since we have built our
customized KPI dashboards that update automatically and we only need to look at the
data in front of us, not export multiple spreadsheets and hope for the best.
We have simply connected our data sources, with the help of datapine got everything
set up, and started using their numerous features. Don’t get me wrong, the software will
not do all the work for you, but it will drastically decrease the amount of time needed to
perform a quality sales process, track low-level to high-level metrics such as the lifetime
value, sales growth, targets, revenues, etc. I would also mention their alerts which is
crucial in a fast-paced sales environment, the software itself alarms me whenever my
targets are missed or the values start to deviate from our set margins.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
We wanted also a mobile feature where our team could access our data and
dashboards also from smartphones or tablets, what was not possible at the beginning.
Luckily, they’ve introduced a mobile app in 2018 so now we have a mobile route to our
sales information which is quite neat, especially when you are on the go.
