What are the best aspects of this product?

It is an effective tool when it comes to managing issues or hosting our customers’ databases. We are able to automate most of the tasks that we could have done manually. For example, instead of trying to access the desktop of our customers so that we can download their databases, we are able to send them a link where they will be able to carry out the action so that their databases can be uploaded onto that link for us to access it. On the same case, once we are done, we can email then a link to return the databases in a secure manner. All this saves the time and thus reliable.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Although it does all the good work of sharing databases and folders on the go, it is limited in some of the ways. For example, it is not possible to manage multiple Dropbox accounts from a single desktop. It only allows you to manage one at a time which can be limiting when you have personal files to manage outside your business files. Also, it is not possible to share a file with another person as it only allows you to share a folder. It would be better if it was possible to unshared or share a file the same way you share or unshared a folder.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has come in handy in a big way to help us manage, host, or repair our customers’ databases when that need arises. Instead of going there to access their machines manually, we can send file links for customers to accept and start the upload process automatically on their end. Once this is done, the connection can be stopped where we are given the chance to repair those databases or host them before we return them. Solving this problem has given us more time to concentrate on our core skills and become more productive in what we do. We are able to upload databases of customers within a short period and without much hustle.
