What are the best aspects of this product?
Druva is well-documented and reliable. It automatically sends an email notification/confirmation whenever data gets restored--making the paper trail easy to trace. It's also easy to use and very intuitive. I think that this is a well-designed product, on the whole.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
One issue that we've brought up with inSync is Druva's failure to process online OneDrive data. This can only be remedied by locally downloading the files at the moment. The auditing logs might benefit from some updates too. Right now, it's a bit difficult to pinpoint users who haven't been religiously backing up their files. Lastly, it should be noted that backing up and/or restoring larger data does take a while. In my case, the task needs to be done overnight. What's even more frustrating is that if my device crashes at any point during the restoration, I'd have to start at the very beginning.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Druva backs up all of our data. This allows us to proceed more confidently with our day-to-day dealings. It takes away the looming stress of worrying over data that might be lost as we go along.
