PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

This free IDE is a good one though it has some performance issues. It is very similar to Eclipse in which it does not get things done a lot. But I like how it has a cloud-based nature, allowing me to work with my colleagues remotely. Plus, it lets us share files with clients easily.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The biggest advantage of Eclipse Che is that it can work in the cloud and removes the hassle of launching a project, something that is common in other IDEs. However, this software has a lot of issues, particularly with its code autocompletion. It also crashes or hangs out of nowhere, leading to us losing data and our work. Eclipse Che should also work on improving the server reliance of the platform to avoid breakdowns.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Eclipse Che is a great tool when you need to work on something and have it go live immediately. It's quirky but my team still loves using it.
