What are the best aspects of this product?

Eclipse has a gentle learning curve, making it a great place to start for those learning to develop. Despite that, it has features that can support complicated actions and it can integrate plugins too for more extensive usage. Because of that, people can use it for different kinds of projects that utilize a variety of programming languages. And if ever anyone encounters an issue, they do not have to look far for help because the community is only a question away.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Features that should be native require plugins, making the startup time of Eclipse longer. There are also some aspects wherein Eclipse performs poorly compared to another IDE.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I recently started learning how to use Java and Eclipse helped me in the process. Instead of the usual complicated setup, it was actually a breeze. It has also been beneficial in working with web services and Spring framework.
