What are the best aspects of this product?

ArcGIS is not your typical business platform. What I like best about this is its flexibility in terms of features. You can use it to maximize your purpose or any upcoming projects. Currently, ArcGIS is playing an essential role in a few of our government projects to help us look for prime locations and extract relevant data at the same time.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I find the platform a little bit outdated compared to its contemporaries. I have to admit that I sometimes get frustrated when I try to explore more of the platform’s features. I need more tutorials and practice to upgrade my mapping skills. Also, government employees find it hard to adapt to GIS because a lot of their existing platforms are not compatible with it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

For the past years, we neglected to do some upgrades in our systems; thus, we are constantly challenged in terms of accurate planning and making smart business decisions. Through this platform, we are forced to improve our current SDE layers to make sure that we follow the guidelines that are presented to us.
