Making maps from scratch has never been this comprehensive with the help of ArcGIS.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Part of my job description is to take charge of mapping, so I decided to look for a tool that can help me do things more manageable. I did some research and found out that ArcGIS has a lot of good feedback. I am ecstatic knowing that I can create professional-looking 3D maps for my colleagues as well as our external clients. Most of them are impressed with my work. I make sure that all my maps are quite comprehensive that even a high school student can interpret things accurately.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

ArcGIS is not a tool for beginners. To be blunt, there are times that I still struggle with the platform. It took me a while to get used to all the navigation process. Also, the system is quite slow even though I already upgraded my processor. I guess that they need to look further into this issue to satisfy most of their clients. On the bright side, I would like to extend my appreciation to their back up team. Aside from getting the support, they also created some learning materials that can help us understand ArcGIS on a more complex level.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Using ArcGIS gave me a whole new perspective in data analytics, integration and reporting. The software has the capability of simplifying information gathered by creating graphs and shapefiles. This makes it easier for us to determine any existing or upcoming problems and how to formulate an appropriate solution.
