Put simply, Fastreel is the scaled-down version of Movavi. The main focus of the software is to provide tools and functions for quickly enhancing raw video clips and arrange them in a chronological manner. The set of tools includes cut, crop, merge, rotate, flip, add text, filters, and even adding subtitles (SRT files). Its features include special effects like split-screen, stop motion, reverse, change video speed, and a wide selection of transition effects. The platform also offers a free music library with copyright-free tracks that you can use.
Fastreel is essentially a quick video maker. It makes editing videos fast and easy by providing users with more than 30 video templates. Templates include those for movie trailers, advertisements, intros, family videos, and even SSM-related videos. Plus, you can also customize them. You can change the order of scenes and add or remove parts.
However, because it is a basic video editor, you cannot change the color scheme of the templates. Moreover, while you can use images like JPEG, PNG, and GIF for slideshows, you cannot edit them and save them in other graphic formats, unlike premium video editors. And, you can only edit videos up to 30 minutes long. Once you are done editing your video, Fastreel allows you to export it as an MP4 file or upload it directly to YouTube.
