Very helpful when we work on large projects since a lot of code changes would be involved. It is very easy to set up git and to track the changes made in the code. The best decentralized version control system available in the market.

When the code changes are implemented by many team members it is very easy to track down all the changes in a single system and easy to track the member who made the changes as well. Code compressing is made easy and large code changes are uploaded very fast which saves a lot of time.
