What are the best aspects of this product?

With Git I can manage numerous branches and combine them when I’m done. “Git status” tool is simple and easy to set up because it gives you an information of what you have done. You can quickly see whether the changes are done and you can see if you have done something that you didn’t want, so you can easily make changes and add to commit.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have to say that the command lines tool are great but I cannot accomplish specific tasks easily. I cannot understand how they work, for e.g. when I want to revert a bad commit do I need to use ‘revert’ or ‘reset’ option. To be honest, I don’t understand the difference between these two.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Before Git we used other systems to run various branches but this was not possible, so we decided to try Git, and this was great decision we have ever made. We are able to run two branches and combine them together without any problem or concern. The workflow is easily accomplished. In our company there are 5 teams that work across 4 different repositories, they successfully launch code to production.
