PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

I suppose this product would be good for those who have very little experience in setting up fundraising platforms. It's relatively simple from an admin perspective, but not amazing by any stretch of the imagination.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

- There were a lot of other issues with our experience, but in a nutshell it was a bait and switch. I hear a lot of wonderful things about the GivingDay functionality of GiveGab, but for P2P I'd look elsewhere.

-The P2P platform is difficult to navigate from both the Admin and the user sides. The user experience looks and feels as though it was built 10+ years ago. Figuring out how to sign in should be easy.

-Fees are relatively high compared to other P2P fundraising platforms. Unknown hidden fees. We signed up for the annual contract at 2% transaction fees, but in reality between GiveGab and Stripe, they take nearly 10% from donations. Granted there is an option for donors to cover fees, but several of our peer fundraisers were turned off by the high fees. Many opted in sending donations directly to us.

-Bookkeepers beware! Payout reports are bare and disorganized. Registration fees are donations are not separated. To get an accurate accounting report, you'll have to combine three reports. You'd think with such high fees, you'd have to do less work, but that is not the case here.
