What are the best aspects of this product?

First of all, it's an open-source--this fact in itself already makes Grass worth checking into. Another reason that I love it is its editable scripts that can be configured to my needs.

It can be difficult to navigate--but hey, it's free.

I use this for remote sensing analysis as well as analyzing satellite data.
