What are the best aspects of this product?
There are so many things to like about this vector editor. Editors who are at a professional level will find that it is easy to get into. I also like that it works on multiple platforms, whether that's windows, Mac, Linux, or the web. I definitely look forward to it being available on Android and iPad as well. Another thing I appreciate is the fast rate with which they introduce new features and tools, which in my opinion are quickly making them match bigger name products. But the thing that I like best is the fact that it does not have intrusive monetization methods or ads and that I can use it for free. Alex de Gravit himself said that this program will "definitely remain free and it will never be crippled by the stupid freemium or whatever." What he plans to do instead is sell additional equipment so that the designer itself remains free, allowing everyone to have a professional design tool at their disposal.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I do wish that this program worked well with other ones since currently exporting to different files can't be done and doesn't give me the freedom to work on another platform if needed. This needs to be addressed because things like this often lead to delays since my colleagues can't perform their tasks because of it.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Because it's free, this program has been a big help in bringing down costs. We've been using it to train our junior staff since we don't have to worry about getting licenses to use it. It has enabled us to provide basic training to new teammates without having to compromise the quality of our work.
