Easy to use tool for data analysis

What are the best aspects of this product?

We’ve been using IBM Cognos Analytics for nearly a year. With its help, we have done many analytics and graphs. It is easy to use and its graph recommendations are reliable. We are using this software to shape and cleanse data as well as merge a variety of data sources so we can comprehend them better.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It could have been better if it runs its analysis in databases that have SQL Push Back. This is particularly important so we can save time, especially when running large datasets.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We’re using IBM Cognos Analytics primarily for searching and analyzing data that we can use for reporting matters. With it, we can clearly understand data and take advantage of visualization methods to begin my reports.
