Frequent product updates increase user adoption

What are the best aspects of this product?

IBM is always working on improving Cognos, which makes it more attractive to users and makes it easier for them to use it.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It takes a while for Cognos to roll out changes for certain modules or features, such as the administration window. At the moment, it is partially still the old one, which was more adaptable was more capable of doing more. They should not advance updates unless they can transform sections of the software fully.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The best benefit we gained from using Cognos is predictive analytics. Apart from that, we are enjoying its historical and other standard reports on top of the dashboards and management tools.
