What are the best aspects of this product?
Cognos fits the needs of medium to large-scale organizations as it provides features critical to BI management: data governance and security and configurable dashboard for monitoring and assessment.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Even with the upgraded version, we can't do budget planning, targeting, data exploration, and capacity-building.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Cognos is excellent for providing comprehensive visuals which can help managers quickly decide their next moves.
