What are the best aspects of this product?
IBM Cognos is very easy to use and dynamic for personalization. The dashboard my team is using was created all by myself without much trouble.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Cognos may be better if it integrates with web-based data transmission programs like the RESTful API.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Cognos is the only BI tool that I trust. I have become heavily dependent on it for my everyday reports as Cognos allowed me to filter stored data more effectively; add data easily, and create professional-looking reports.
